SME Digital Center Saarbrücken.
The MDZ Saarbrücken aims to improve the holistic understanding of the digital transformation in companies, to support the implementation of digital applications and to promote the networking of SMEs. The formats were chosen in such a way that regionally based SMEs experience a direct regional contact point and a quick (on-site) exchange. In addition, supra-regional SMEs and network partners can also take part in the offers. The MDZ Saarbrücken provides needs-based, practice-oriented and target group-specific information, qualification, implementation and networking offers for companies and for (supra)regional multipliers.
EDIH Saarland
EDIH is the digital innovation catalyst and integrator for structural change in Saarland. The project provides regional small and medium-sized companies with a comprehensive service portfolio with a focus on artificial intelligence and other future key technologies. The EDIH Saarland acts within the European EDIH network and deals with the essential regional innovation requirements of the green and digital change. The services developed for regional innovation strategies are made available to the entire EDIH network.

COLAB4DIGITWIN
CoLab4DigiTwin aims at the further development of cross-company 3D collaboration platforms. Intelligent smart services should process data (visually) and offer synchronized, data-based decision-making aids for users. The development of a digital platform for cross-company cooperation for the trusting and collaborative use of manufacturing and production data is innovative. CoLab4DigiTwin makes it possible to process complex tasks and projects across companies, time and place.
Other Projects
We stand for application-oriented research transfer at an international level. Our focus in terms of content is on research relating to the companies of the future Super Smart Enterprise. As an independent research institute, we work on developing innovative technologies and thinking ahead about business models. We attach great importance to the close integration of research, innovation and practice.

As part of a co-innovation, we examine company-specific research questions together with our partners. We develop concepts, create a roadmap or develop the first prototype applications.
