Lab Lead GreenTech - Lower Saxony (m/f/d)
As a Lab Lead GreenTech (m/f/d) With a focus on digitalization in the area of Smart Water and Circular Economy at our location in Lower Saxony, the Center for Digital GreenTech of the August Wilhelm Scheer Institute, you will design and develop the subject areas of Smart Water and Circular Economy together with our colleagues from Saarbrücken and play your part contribute to a sustainable and digital future. You will build forward-looking projects for digital transformation in collaboration with industrial partners and develop intelligent IT systems for the future of the water and circular economy.
What you do with us
• Together with our team, you will develop ideas for the sustainable digitalization of processes in the water, energy and circular economy and transfer these into project proposals for research projects
• You work on innovative research projects, coordinate project partners and acquire new knowledge in the field of GreenTech, present your results in demonstrators and test your results with industry partners
• In projects, you develop concepts and digital solutions taking into account the latest technologies (such as AI or blockchain) to optimize CO2 consumption or the use of resources, for example in the production process
• You share your experiences and knowledge both internally and externally with the scientific community, write publications and network with corporate partners and public funding agencies

• You have completed a degree and ideally a doctorate in (business) information technology, engineering or comparable courses, preferably related to digitalization or sustainability
• You have experience in academic work, for example in writing publications or project proposals as well as working in research projects
• You have strong communication skills in both German and English (at least B2 level)
