Research Associate - Green Tech (m/f/d)
As a scientific Assistant (m/f/d) with a focus on the Digitization in the field of green tech you design and develop the topics together with our team Smart water, smart energy and circular economy and with your work you contribute to a sustainable and digital future. You build forward-looking projects for digital transformation at the interface between research and practice in cooperation with industrial partners and develop intelligent IT systems for the future of water, energy and recycling management. Become part of our team in Center for Digital Green Tech (Clausthal-Zellerfeld, TU Clausthal start-up center, Lower Saxony) and work in a hybrid working model on topics related to the sustainable and digital future.
What you do with us
- As part of innovation projects, you research, work out and develop new digital solutions to optimize processes in energy, recycling and water management, e.g. for more efficient resource planning and use
- Taking the latest technologies (e.g. AI, blockchain) into account, you and our team will develop new ideas for digitization measures in cooperation with partners and transfer them from the idea to the prototype and use in practice
- You share your experience and knowledge both internally and externally with the scientific community, write publications, attend conferences and network with corporate partners and public sponsors

- Working at the interface between research and practice appeals to you, you are result-oriented, creative and want to make a difference
- You have a degree or a doctorate in (business) informatics, environmental sciences, engineering, economics or comparable courses, preferably related to digitization and/or sustainability
- You have a strong affinity for digital technologies and innovations in the context of green technology and ideally already have experience in this environment
- Knowledge of data science, AI and blockchain is an advantage
- You have strong communication skills in both German and English (fluent knowledge)
