Intelligent infrastructure monitoring
Efficient maintenance of public infrastructure.

Data-based, automated and predictive

Rethinking condition assessment

The maintenance of municipal infrastructure is often complex and expensive. Streets, sidewalks, and green spaces are often only inspected irregularly, which leads to delays and high follow-up costs. This is precisely where the Intelligent infrastructure monitoring It records the condition of the infrastructure cost-effectively and automatically. This allows for early planning of measures, avoiding unnecessary costs, and sustainably improving security – digitally, efficiently, and future-oriented.

Less effort, more overview – find out how easy predictive maintenance can be.

Your challenge

Promote innovation in a targeted manner

Complex data collection

Manually recording infrastructure conditions is costly and delays preventive measures.

Lack of precise forecasts

Without AI-supported analysis, a reliable forecast of infrastructure development is lacking, which makes efficient planning difficult.

Inadequate testing processes

Manual inspections are irregular and inaccurate in order to detect all deficiencies in a timely manner and initiate measures.

Our solution

Efficient infrastructure maintenance through smart data and AI power

With the Intelligent infrastructure monitoring Municipal vehicles and modern smartphone sensors regularly collect current condition data from roads, sidewalks, and traffic areas fully automatically during ongoing operations. Artificial intelligence analyzes this data and provides not only a real-time overview but also reliable forecasts for the future development of the infrastructure.

The system enables data-based, predictive and cost-efficient maintenanceDamage is detected early, follow-up costs are reduced, and the infrastructure is maintained digitally, automatically, and sustainably in the long term.

infrastructure monitoring.

High-frequency detection through regular trips of municipal vehicles enables the reliable identification of cracks, potholes and blocked traffic, cycle and sidewalks.

Complaint management.

Identification of infrastructure deficiencies through digital visual inspection, for example damage to parking ticket machines.

Infrastructure forecast.

From the status data recorded during the visual inspections, our AI creates precise forecasts for the future development of the infrastructure.

Your step towards a smart city

Mobility meets Artificial Intelligence

Objective

Efficient and regular recording of the infrastructure condition to detect damage early and avoid high follow-up costs.

Process

Municipal vehicles automatically collect image and sensor data during operation, which an AI analyzes in real time to record the condition and create forecasts.

Advantage

Significant reduction of effort and costs through automated testing, transparent status overview and optimized, predictive maintenance.

Modern smartphones are equipped with numerous sensors that capture a wide range of data – from acceleration and braking behavior to high-resolution images. Intelligent infrastructure monitoring uses this data to assess road conditions at high frequency and with precision according to the ZEB standard.

Additionally, additional information such as weather conditions and structural features can be fed into the system. Based on all this data, the AI creates reliable forecasts of future road conditions – for predictive and efficient maintenance.

Our success model

We offer Best in class  in the scientific and  talent-centric incubation.

The teams work on the current and future challenges of the company during the program. This not only strengthens the entrepreneurial potential of each individual, but also the innovative power of the company for long-term corporate success.

Part of our work is documented in the current Intrapreneurship Monitor. Almost 500 companies from Germany were surveyed in 2023 about how they set up intrapreneurship activities in their company and what obstacles and challenges had to be overcome. A particular focus was placed on the ICT industry. Together with the University of Bayreuth we show how successful intrapreneurship programs have to be designed.
