The eConsulting Store is an online shop for consulting. More precisely, it is a fully integrated web solution which allows to sell and to conclude digital and conventional consulting services.
Unique features of the eConsulting Store
PROTOTYPE OF THE ARIS eCONSULTING STORE
The concept of an eConsulting Store worked out above was implemented as a prototype together with the company Scheer GmbH using the company specific ARIS Consulting Services. As a proof of concept, we implemented the ECS in the domain of the ARIS Service Consulting based on the open source webstore Magento. Our choice was governed by accessibility of the source code, variability of available plugins, customizability and general extensibility by individually developed modules.
A first result was a customer oriented architecture of the ARIS eConsulting Store prototype, which should be considered a technical and conceptual framework for the implementation. The second result is the software prototype itself.
Der eConsulting-Store from customer perspective
The whole purchasing process is supported by an optional online sales consulting. The content of the shopping cart displays the actual need, and the customer can now either request an offer or directly purchase a service at a fixed price.
After processing the purchase, the fulfillment process to call for a consulting service begins which depends on the scheduled services.
Digital consulting services without staff assigned are for example available immediately after booking. Consulting services that are events scheduled in time, for example live streams, only require choice of a date. Hybrid solutions, like follow-up discussions to self-service assessments, require different structures. Functionally, these possibilities are combined to a generic eConsulting Fulfillment module that enables all adaptions.
Fulfillment process using the example of a booked, virtual consultation
At first, an organizer is assigned, which allows to separate between the role of the buyer and the users in the customer’s company. Afterwards, the organizer is able to plan meetings and invite associated employees.
Afterwards, disposition starts when employees and consultant schedule and confirm date and time, and share information and requirements for a meeting.
Virtual consultations are unlocked by links to remote sessions in the ECS dashboard. These links are additionally sent as an e-mail reminder prior to the appointment.
